Why Use a Vitamin & Mineral Powder?
Wild reptiles eat a large variety of insects to get a complete nutrient profile. In captivity we can only supply them with a limited number of different feeder insects. In order to solve this and provide captive reptiles with the right nutrients we often use a combination of two types of products.
The first product is a gutload, literally loading the gut of the insects and arthropods full of the nutrients reptiles need, but they are normally lacking in.
The second product is a Vitamin & Mineral powder, to dust the insects right before feeding to your reptile. Hyabora RepCaVit is based on scientific research and optimised for the nutritional needs of reptiles. How to Use
1. Put a number of feeder insects in a closable container.
2. Add a teaspoon of RepCaVit and close the container.
3. Shake thoroughly, but gently enough not to kill the insects, to coat all the insects in the RepCaVit.
4. Feed the powder-covered insects to your reptile. You can put them in their terrarium or handfeed them to preference. Make sure not to throw the excess powder into the terrarium as well.
5. For best results alternate between different flavours of RepCaVit.
