Why Use a Vitamin & Mineral Powder?
Wild amphibians eat a large variety of insects to get a complete nutrient profile. In captivity we can only supply them with a limited number of different feeder insects. In order to solve this and provide captive amphibians with the right nutrients we often use a combination of two types of products.
The first product is a gutload, literally loading the gut of the insects and arthropods full of the nutrients amphibians need, but they are normally lacking in.
The second product is a Vitamin & Mineral powder, to dust the insects right before feeding to your amphibian. Hyabora AmCaVit is based on scientific research and optimised for the nutritional needs of amphibians. Full of especially those vitamins and minerals that feeder insects often lack to meet your amphibians’ nutritional needs.
An added benefit of Hyabora AmCaVit is the use of two distinct insect-inspired flavours. Amphibians, just like humans, can get flavour fatigue when eating the same thing week in, week out. We recommend alternating between the two different AmCaVit flavours weekly for optimal results.

How to Use
1. Put a number of feeder insects in a closable container.
2. Add a teaspoon of AmCaVit and close the container.
3. Shake thoroughly, but gently enough not to kill the insects, to coat all the insects in the AmCaVit.
4. Feed the powder-covered insects to your amphibian. You can put them in their terrarium or handfeed them to preference. Make sure not to throw the excess powder into the terrarium as well.
5. For best results alternate between different flavours of AmCaVit.
