Our Story
After many years of keeping and breeding frogs, Kas was getting fed up with the generic nutrition on the market. They were designed broadly, lacking a scientific basis and many times full of unhealthy or plain useless ingredients. For many years he had been formulating his own mix of feed for his frogs and tadpoles, with huge succes!
After finishing his Masters in Ecology he went to his friend, Tom, proposing to work together to bring a science-backed species-specific feed to the market. The combination of an Ecologist with years of experience in reptiles and amphibians and a Food Technology student with a love of animals would be perfect.
From this, Hyabora was born in January of 2026. With a focus on practical use and biological relevance, we began developing formulations that address specific nutritional gaps. Diving into whatever scientific research we could find and already had found in the years before.
